Lots of Christmas pics!!!

Ok, so there are a lot of pics on this post, but i put Christmas, Christmas eve and days before and after all on this post, Christmas 2009 was AMAZING. My mom came and spent the night so i got to be with my whole family, and it was so fun. I finally got the camera from my parents that i have been asking for for the past 4 years and LOVE IT, it's a Nikon D60 and my dad gave me an awesome lens for it, so a lot of the pics of Riley and Jeron are me playing with it trying to figure it out, boy do i have a lot to learn, but it came with 3 free classes, i will just never learn with just 3 classes!!!

I also got some clothes 2 different perfumes and shoes etc.. Jason gave me my cute cowboy boots that i wanted, sunglasses, a shirt and he had my tattooed eyeliner touched up, i had a ton of fun this year, Jeron got a new laptop, and might i mention how excited i was that he can't use my computer anymore WA HOO!!! What a brat i am, but he was driving me crazy in my room all the time, he also got a new itouch, witch i also love because he was using my ipod all the time!

Also, jentry got a bag of coal from me cuz she is naughty, all though there was a visa card in the bag with the coal, so it was all good.... all in all Christmas was KAOS but great!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year.

Oh Christmas tree!

Here is my Christmas tree, my dad and i went and bought a real tree this year, we haven't had a real tree since i was a little girl, i had so much fun decorating it... it smells so good! I guess this means i have to go shopping now so i can put some presents under it!! Happy Holidays!

Deer hunt 2009

This year i got to go with the Thomas family on their family deer hunt up above vernal by flaming gorge and i had so much fun, i got to get up early and go looking for deer, there wasn't much but we saw a few. I did get to see my favorite thing though, Moose, there was a cute little family of them hanging out in the quakies and i was so excited when jake spotted them, i couldn't get out of the truck fast enough to get a better look and take a few pictures... We also went fishin at a lake that was close by and the kids caught a few small fish and Gracie and i caught a little water snake that she saw by the tackle box, she was in heaven and didn't want to stop holding it. For the most part we just hung out by the fire and had a good time, Gracie and Carter rode home with us and Jason bought them each a toy at the gas station and so Carter got a sword and Gracie got fake nails and we made her a little beaded necklace in the truck, Carter didn't understand why she would want fake nails, he said "you can't do anything with them" the pictures are so cute of them in the truck with their toys. The mountains looked so pretty with all the fall colors. We has a ton of fun and i can't wait till next year!

Viva Las Vegas!

Jason and i went to Las Vegas last weekend, our last trip before he head's back for surgery in texas in about a week, but we had a blast playin in Vegas.

We went and relaxed by the pool, gambled and we went to see the show's Mystere, Blue man group and we also saw crazy horse, they were all really good, my favorite was Mystere!

We didn't want to come home so we stayed and extra day and rode the rides at the top of the Stratosphere and that was also so much fun, i wish i could be on vacation with him forever, we have so much fun together and i am not ready to see him off on the plane to Texas on monday, i'm really gonna miss him, even though i'll be there shortly after, i just feel bad he has to go through surgery again, and i can't wait till he is all done with surgeries and home for good!

Flaming Gorge

We went to Flaming Gorge over the 24th of july weekend with jason's uncle Paul and his friends and Jake and Annie and their kids, we had so much fun, as soon as we got there it started pouring rain and as soon as it stopped we went out on the lake.

The water was so pretty, i hadn't been there since i was a little girl and i loved it and want to go back so bad! I learned how to surf behind the boat and has so much fun, we crashed on the tubes a couple times, that made me pretty sore the next few days, but it was all worth it!!!

Kenny Chesney 2009

Kenny Chesney was so much fun this year, i love his concerts, i haven't missed one yet, last night was the 6th concert for me, he puts on the best show! We saw lots of friends, it was way hot but we had a real good time! Cant wait till next year, i really need front row and back staget tickets next time though!!

San Antonio Sea World

I went to spend another week with jas, and we went to Sea World!! I love that place, the Dolphins are my favorite, i had to keep going back to feed them, it was so hot that day, we just wanted to jump in the water! We also saw the Shamu show and that was pretty good, we had so much fun!

I just got back from visiting Jason in Texas again, and this time it we celebrated his birthday, he had surgery and then we got to take a little road trip down to Corpus Christy, to see the beach and the air craft carrier USS Lexington. We also went to the River walk again and to the Alamo We had so much fun, jason is doing a lot better and is trying to come home to visit as soon as he can and i can't wait!!

I got to go back down to texas to spend another week with jason and we were able to go out on the most fun date ever to see the comedian Jeff Dunham, then we went to the River Walk in down town San Antonio where we just walked around and had the best time together outside of the hospital finally, it was one of the best nights i have ever had, we just spent time together and took cute pictures and enjoyed the evening before he had to go back into surgery the next day. Friday we had to be to the hospital at 7:30 in the morning and they didn't take him back till 6:00 that night, so as you can see in the picture, we kept falling asleep on the waiting room couches, so Kathy took the sleepy pictures of us and i love that picture! The surgery took longer than we thought it was going to because they had to redo some things in his wrist wich was a bit of a set back, but were glad they were able to find what was wrong and that they were able to fix things, it will just take some time to recover, but he is doing good now, he should be able to finally get out of bed and try and walk around a little bit tomorrow, i'm excited because i get to go back and see him a week from today, and i can't wait!

I miss him so much when i am away from him, i'm so thankful that he is home safe and that he is doing better, hopefully he can come home soon! I love you Jason!

I just got home from San Antonio Texas where i spent the week with Jason in the hospital, he was injured over in Afghanistan from a Roll over in an MRAP, he suffered a very bad injury to his arm, where had an open fracture on his left arm, they had to do surgery immediately in afghanistan and Germany to fix the broken bones with 3 plates, 2 in his radius and one in the ulna, he was then flown to Virginia and then to Texas, where he underwent 2 more surgeries, the most recent one was on friday and he ended up being in the O.R. for over 6 hours, (LONGEST day of my life), they then repaired all the tendins in his wrist and hand, they took out a nerve from his right leg to replace the missing 11 cm of nerve in his wrist, and then they had to graft it, so they took a big piece of skin off his left leg to graft over the missing areas on his arm, so he is pretty banged up! So, all in all he has a huge incision on the back of his right leg, major surgery on his left hand and arm, and then on his left thigh is the skin graft that feels like the worst rug burn ever x10! The poor guy, was in so much pain, but i am so happy i was able to be there with him to help him with whatever he needed, he always has a great attitude and a smile on his face, He is doing much better now, the doctors are looking at it on thursday to see if anymore surgeries are needed, I am so happy that he is safe and back in the states and recovering well, I love you and I am so proud of you Jason!

These are my favorite little guys in the whole world, My cousins, Conner and Parker, it's weird to say they are just my cousins because they feel more like nephews! We were at Conner's basketball game, he lost witch might explain the kinda sad look on his little face, if they would have won they would have played for the championship, but Conner played awesome anyways, as usual!! Love you Conner and Parker!!!

I hear everything, Jeron calls me eagle ears! I can be clear upstairs in my room and i will hear all conversations going on down stairs, i can be working in the lab at work and i will hear all conversations going on in the other room, and i am annoying and i will break into a conversation and start asking questions and it drives everyone crazy!
I am obsessed with stars!!! I love patriotic things and any thing with stars flags and the colors red, white, and blue! I think it's because my birthday is so close to the 4th of july. (July 5th wich is 5 months from today :)) I have those big metal stars all over the house and in all colors and sizes, i decorate my Christmas tree in all stars and bells and i even got a tattoo of a star on my foot and that's random for me!
I swallowed a quarter when i was, yep, 13 a little old to be putting change in my mouth! My friend Steph and i were going to a movie and we were at her house up in copperton and i was putting an old school banana clip in my hair so i bit on 3 quarters to hold them between my teeth, as i flipped my head upside down, 2 quarters fell on the floor and the 3rd, well it went to the back of my throat and my first instinct was to swallow, it went down my throat and got stuck at the back of my airway and was not moving, so we had to go to the hospital where my uncle had to do surgery and go in and get it out! He said if it would have tipped just barley it would have closed off my airway i i could have died! of course it turned into a big joke so when he woke me up after surgery, he said that they got it out ok but, he had to break it up in order to get it out, he then handed me 2 dimes and 1 nickle!
I have to sleep with a heat pad every night!! I had a big surgery a while back and i had to sleep with one every night on my stomach, well it turned into a habbit, only it slowly moved from my stomach to my feet, and now i can't sleep unless i have one at my feet every night! i have gone through so many of them!
i guess i say the most random things all the time, you can ask Jay and Cheri, they are always laughing at the most random things that i say! ( can you tell i have no idea how to write 6 random things about myself!)
I guess a recent random thing about myself is that i cut my hair OFF! yeah, like 5 inches, its a dramatic A line, i have never been so brave before! THE END..........I tag..........Alicia, Annie, Brandi, Betsy and Nikki

Family filled weekend!

This weekend we had a family birthday party for my cute little grandparents at their church, where all the kids got to play basketball, ride their scooters or rip sticks, or anything they wanted without making a huge mess of grandma's house, we had pizza and everyone just played and had root beer floats. it was a lot of fun. That night Jentry came and stayed with me again so i could get her up to her volleyball tournament up town by 8:30 saturday morning, so my aunt and uncle could run conner and parker around to their basketball games, so i got Jentry to volleyball on time and and stayed for a few games then i rode down to orem with her dad to watch parker play basketball, then back up to salt lake to the rest of Jentry's games with her mom, so i was all over the place! Jentry did so good, they beat the 2 best teams in the end, and they were very close intense games, i now don't have a voice from cheering all day, parker played really good also, he made 8 points, he is only in 1st grade and he plays wit 4th graders, so that is pretty good for a little guy! Jentry's games got done around 5:30 and then i ended up back in orem to my aunts house to watch a movie, it was a very long day, by the time i got back home i was so tired!

So, these little fella's just chill in my back yard almost everyday and look for the ladies, we usually have around 20 or so and they come up on the deck and get right next to the windows of the house, there are more doe's then bucks obviously, but its fun to have them around, my dog thinks she is scary and can chase them away, but one of the bucks decided he wasn't gonna have it and chased her around the house 3 times and finally cornered her in the garage, it was pretty funny!

My cousin and i had a girls night out! it was a blast, we went and saw the movie valcurry and then came over to my house and had a sleep over and watched one of my favorite movies, "The Notebook". And goofed off on my computer in the photo booth, witch is why i posted these goofy pictures! Then we woke up and went down to my friends store, called Christy's corner and both got way cute outfits, it was definaltely a girls night out and it was so much fun! (Jentry, lets do it more often!) love you Jent!

Christmas day 2008

We had a great Christmas, i slept in till about 8 then we opened presents around 9 and my mom came and spent christmas with my dad, brother and i, and she cooked a great breakfast, i got a lot of real fun stuff, and was able to enjoy christmas morning with my family. It started snowing so bad, by the time we were done with breakfast we had around 4-5 foot drifts outside the garage and the yard, my dad even got stuck in the bronco wich has a big plow on it and he had to be pulled out of the ditch, it took him almost 4 hours to finish plowing! All and all this year we had a great Christmas, i can't wait till next year, it will be even better!

Christmas eve at Grandmas and Grandpas was just as fun as always, we had some real good soup and bread sticks, salads, meatballs, deviled eggs, and all sorts of other fun stuff, it was yummy! Grandma had a bingo game planned for all the grandkids to play, and then we watched a really good little 7 min movie she had about the birth of our savior, and it put everyone in such a christmas spirit, we then all exchanged out gifts and opened our gifts from Grandm Grandpa, she gave me and Jentry really cute jackets and some sweat pants from Aero, Jentry gave me jammie pants and slippers and the new Taylor Swift CD, wich, by the way is really good! Everyone was able to make it this year, except my uncle Bryce and his family, they were on a Hawaiian cruise, we misssed you this year Bryce and fam! All in all we had a lot of fun, like always, the kids were all so excited for Santa to come, before they all left we pulled up the Santa tracker on line so they could see where he was, so they all could go get in bed and wait! Hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

Yay !I got to talk to jason over in Afghanistan, we downloaded a program that allowed us to talk over the computer, and we were able to see each other also, it was so good to be able to see him and hear him! he will probably get mad at me for posting this picture, cuz he doest like it of him, but oh well :-) Sometimes his voice was clear, but if lots of people were on line then it would start breaking up and he would look all digital and blurry, but still as cute as ever, he is doing good, and sounded good! Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving this year was a nice quiet day at Grandma's, the night before me and my family were up till about 3 a.m. because our cat Baxter that we have had since i was a junior in high school, started not being able to breath, and so me, Jeron and Colby Grundy jumped into my car racing to the emergency vet, but unfortunalely he passed away in Jeron's arms, his lungs had filled up with fluid because of his heart disease and there would have been nothing they could have done for him, so things around here are pretty quiet!

Dinner was good most everyone was there this year, and all the grandkids had a ball together, my uncle Bryce made some make shift air balloons with a garbage bag and alcohol or something so the kids thought that was pretty cool to see it fly!
